Students Kick-off
During the first week of the piano year in September, students start off the year together with all the other students in the studio. There are ice-breakers, music games and fun activities to kick-off the year. Students will also receive/organize their binders and create their Musician Profile to go on the studio wall. |

Piano Sharing at a local Senior Home
On the October Province-wide Pro-D day, we will visit a local senior home to spend some time with residents and share our music with them. This event involves both personal interaction as well as musical performance. The residents love talking to and interacting with students so we usually spend some time meeting them first before playing some music and games with them. |

Winter Concert
On a Saturday near the end of November or early December, we have our annual Winter Concert, a festive or themed concert with performances, potluck, games, photo booth and lots of Christmas songs! Photo: 2023 T'Was the Night Before Christmas PJ-themed Winter Concert |

Meet the Composer
Each year, our studio will study a feature composer of the year and create a composer lap book. So far, the studio has created lap books for Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Joplin. |

Mini-Concert (s)
This performance opportunity is in a smaller and more intimate setting where a few students and their families gather together for the concert either in a student's homes or at the studio. Students can be creative and create their own programs, tickets and ways audience can participate in the concert. |
Year-End Recital
In June, our studio joins together with a few other studios to have a year-end recital in a larger venue. Students will select one piece to perform for this year-end event and will also get to enjoy seeing other students and their teachers perform. Many students have told me their favourite part of the recital is the the delicious food families bring to share at the end of the recital!
