Mystery footprints have been found all over Musicville....
Whose footprints? Where have they been? What are they up to?
This summer, be a musical detective and find out what is going on in Musicville through audiation, keyboard skills, games, ensembles, theory and songwriting. Get ready for five exciting days of music and fun!
Music detectives will spend most of the day honing and employing their musical skills. However, this year, the camp includes a "Music And More" aspect where campers connect music with another discipline as they discover footprints in different areas of Musicville. One day, their sleuthing might lead them to an hour of art class with a local artist. On another day, our entire group will visit a local music store for a tour and a scavenger hunt. "Music and More" activities are aimed to further develop them as musicians, their creativity & imagination.....and to have fun of course!

Campers will need to bring:
As there will be several campers, please bring everything in a backpack and label loose items with students' names.
- their own snack, lunch and water bottle. Water can be refilled at the studio.
- Comfortable clothing to move in, appropriate shoes for outdoor games/activities
- A hat or jacket if needed
- Sunscreen

Bettina Stumm is a published author and artist who is passionate about all things creative. She is especially interested in the connections between the arts—story-telling, visual art, music—and the ways that creative practices can bring joy to our lives as well as help us work through challenging circumstances. She has written and spoken variously on the ethical potential that creative acts have in the world.
